Hydroponic Research and Data

We support ongoing research into the technology of simplified hydroponics. A white paper has been presented for research needs for simplified hydroponics. Beginning experiments were conducted at Oregon State University Greenhouse experiments were conducted for three years to design hydroponic growing containers, develop plant nutrient formulas, determine hydroponic crop growth and food production.

Peggy Bradley mentored Engineering students at Oregon State University and  local high school students through summer programs.  Included were experiments for students participating in Science and Engineering for Youth (SESEY) and The Science and Math Investigative Learning Experiences (SMILE) Programs.
