Unit 7 Part (A). Creating models of Hydroponic Systems Models are created by using modeling clay, construction paper, colored pencils, or anything else that seems to be useful. For more information on building models, see the ancient cultures introduction. Future Hydroponics Hydroponic Systems can be used to solve many modern day problems. Hydroponic gardens can help homeless people grow food, or people who do not have enough food to eat. In this unit, we learn about some hydroponic designs and then model them in clay. As you work, write down questions you might have, or tell your teacher. Later, you might try to find the answers to some of your questions. Each model should be constructed on a wooden board.
